Hans Joachim Bochtler succeeds Dr Axel Mescheder, as the new vice president of clinical research & development at Medigene.

Bochtler is a physician with long-standing management experience in clinical research and development at both international pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies.

Bochtler, said: "The company has a very attractive pipeline and I am excited to help the team tap into the full potential of its research and development projects. MediGene is the first German biotech company with marketed products and it is my intention to assist in further extending this lead."
