Hellmann moves into Arabian market with Healthcare Logistics solution

Hellmann Worldwide Logistics unveiled its global launch of Hellmann Healthcare Logistics at Arab Health 2010 in Dubai last month. The global logistics provider's portfolio will offer an end-to-end logistics operation within the Arabian healthcare industry.

Recognising that the pharmaceutical industry extends beyond the manufacturers" doors, Hellmann's key areas of focus will be on processing standards, people and facilities to comply with the regulatory requirements.

Hellmann Healthcare Logistics will be a vertical segmented organisation within Hellmann Worldwide Logistics, which Andreas Lohmeier will head up as global director. He explained: 'Hellmann has gained experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device sectors over many years, but we have never offered an entire global end-to-end solution. It's now time to consolidate all our current dealings into a dedicated solution with a dedicated team which support the entire operation from product launch to warehousing and supply chain designs.'
