High reliability cuts downtime

The latest thermal transfer overprinter from Videojet Technologies is said to offer less downtime and lower operating costs, thanks to its clutchless ribbon drive, which maintains correct ribbon tension, thereby reducing ribbon breaks, false ribbon breaks, overprinting and poor print quality.

DataFlex produces clear, high-resolution images in intermittent or continuous mode for the printing of real-time, variable data, including bar codes and graphic images.

The clean technology makes it particularly suitable for the pharmaceutical market, the company says.
