IBS secures major Australian pharma software contract
Swedish business software company International Business Systems (IBS) has signed an agreement with Australian pharmaceutical distributor Sigma for the installation of IBS Pharma, its specialised software solution for pharmaceutical distribution.

The agreement covers software, implementation, services and hardware and is worth Euro 4.5m.
'IBS's turnkey solution minimises the project risk for us, and I look forward to the significant efficiency benefits and improved functionality that the new system will provide,' said Elmo de Alwis, managing director of Sigma.
'The implementation of IBS Pharma, with its industry-specific functionality, is expected to facilitate further improvements in Sigma's supply chain processes,' added Staffan Wensing, managing director of IBS Australia.
