IMA reaches for the stars with stellar processing line

A complete aseptic processing line featuring a Libra Hydra linear vial washer, a Libra Blue Galaxy depyrogenating tunnel and an IMA Sterifill F2000 filling and stoppering machine were among the systems on show from IMA.


A complete aseptic processing line featuring a Libra Hydra linear vial washer, a Libra Blue Galaxy depyrogenating tunnel and an IMA Sterifill F2000 filling and stoppering machine were among the systems on show from IMA.

The Libra linear washing machines of the Hydra series, dedicated to the decontamination of containers for injectable use, are available in a wide range that covers the processing of all vials used by the industry. A speed of up to 34,000 pieces per hour can be attained. The Libra Blue Galaxy is a VHP sterilisation tunnel designed to be inserted in a production line that requires continuous depyrogenation by means of dry heat.

The IMA Sterifill F2000 Net Weight is an in-line filling and stoppering machine that features a 'net weight filling system'. It is suitable for filling liquid solutions into cylindrical vials and drugs processing in aseptic conditions.
