IMed Group, a leading provider of expert services to the global medical and health technology industry, announces the launch of its Irish entity: IMed EUAR, based in Cork, which will work alongside UK-based IMed Consultancy. This strategic expansion marks a key milestone in IMed’s continued growth, enabling the company to offer EU Authorised Representative services to old and new clients worldwide.
Starting March 2025, IMed has also appointed three highly experienced professionals, whose expertise and passion for innovation will enhance IMed’s capabilities across its international portfolio. Kieran brings hands-on regulatory experience from both in vitro diagnostics (IVD) manufacturing and clinical trials. With academic credentials in biotechnology and a master’s in medical device regulatory affairs, he will play a vital role in anchoring IMed’s presence in one of Europe’s most vibrant MedTech clusters. "IMed’s dynamic approach is unlike anything I’ve experienced. The range of projects and innovation we support is immense," said Kieran. Benjamin Austin, Senior QA/RA Consultant (Software as a Medical Device (SaMD)/Artificial Intelligence (AI)), joins IMed Consultancy with eight years of experience dedicated to SaMD start-ups, including projects focused on AI tools for Alzheimer’s detection and drug dose optimisation. His background spans QA/RA, clinical investigations and data protection, positioning him as a valuable advisor to cutting-edge digital health companies. “I was drawn to IMed by the sheer diversity of projects and the opportunity to help groundbreaking technologies reach patients faster," he states. "I'm excited to work with innovative companies and accelerate their path to market."
The Group has also appointed a highly experienced Partnerships Director, Alison Davis. Alison holds a PhD in Molecular Biology and brings a strong commercial background from the diagnostics and healthcare sectors. "I’ve always believed in pushing boundaries and being part of real change," said Alison. "At IMed, I see a team that’s fearless, smart, and truly committed to delivering quality — it’s exciting to be part of that journey."
