Indian joint venture in Kenya

Indian company Veronica Laboratories is finalising an agreement with Nairobi-based Solanki Pharmaceuticals to establish a joint venture company in Kenya to market an anti-AIDS Herbtab in neighbouring African countries. Veronica Laboratories also entered a strategic alliance with Enpee Healthcare to market the new herbal anti-AIDS drug in October. Veronica Labs and Solanki Pharmaceuticals will each hold 50% of the proposed venture. They will also target Zimbabwe and Mozambique, which have the highest incidence of AIDS.
