Industry to ensure CTEC is truly focused
The second CTEC - the Cleanroom and Contamination Control Exhibition and Conference - being held in Brussels on 11-12 October 2005, will be guided by the industry's own member associations.
Lending their expertise this year will be Linda Vereycken of the Belgian Cleanroom Workclub; Paul van Rij of TVVL in the Netherlands; Connor Murray of the Irish Cleanroom Society; Dr Hans H Schicht of the Swiss Cleanroom Society; and Prof Bengt Ljungqvist and Dr Berit Reinmueller of the Cleanrooms and Contamination Control Association for Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden (R3 Nordic).
The steering committee will guide the conference programme to focus on the real issues facing the industry and provide high profile speakers to give the best advice and solutions. This expertise will be reflected in the exhibition, ensuring it addresses all facets of the industry.
Cleanroom Technology publisher Mike Mikunda said: 'It's vital that CTEC 2005 follows the strong lead of the 2004 event and who better to steer CTEC 2005 than the organisations representing the industry itself. CTEC 2005 will be topical and a true representation of the industry. I am delighted that the members have agreed to direct CTEC, which demonstrates their commitment to ensuring a true industry event.'
CTEC will consist of a high-level conference with sessions on regulatory affairs, design, containment, aseptic processing & packaging and business solutions. The exhibition will complement the conference, showing the latest in design and construction, garments and consumables, equipment, and services.
