Isochem signs deal with Solvay

Isochem, the fine chemicals subsidiary of Groupe SNPE, Paris, France, has signed a manufacturing contract for 'a key intermediate' with Solvay Pharmaceuticals, Luxembourg.

'This contract reflects the long term commitment of Isochem to multi-steps synthesis involving complex technologies like hydrogenation, as well as the beginning of a partnership between the two companies,' Isochem said.

Isochem is a specialist in the production of active ingredients and intermediates; its principal markets are pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, plant protection and speciality intermediates.
