Isopak, a leading UK supplier of equipment to the medical and healthcare industries, will be showing the latest version of the automatic bench top In-Cap machine with liquid filling.

This compact, easy-to-use machine is said to be ideal for use in pharmacies, hospitals and r&d laboratories for clinical trials, small batch and special productions.

The liquid filling station gives fill weights from 0.15-1000mg for hot, cold and viscous liquids, and can be linked to the new Bonapace BD 3000 capsule banding machine which will be shown for the first time in the UK. The BD 3000 is a compact, stand-alone automatic machine allowing liquid-filled, hard gelatine capsules to be sealed effectively to prevent leaks.

The In-Cap will be demonstrated handling double-blind capsules with a new individual tablet filling unit. The fully automated system allows packs for blind trials to be produced and the new low volume hopper means the machine can operate with as little as 50g of product.

Also making its UK debut is the CPR-6 automatic tablet press for small batch runs. Although compact in design, the unit on display has an output of up to 2500 tablets per hour and can exercise a compression force of 2.5 tons. It is constructed from high quality stainless steel, is easy to clean and operate and is aimed particularly at laboratories, pharmacies and hospitals.

Another first for the UK is the SBP-4 sachet filler, said to be ideal for use in small scale production and clinical trials. Equally suitable for producing single dose bags of powders, liquids, creams, capsules or tablets, the unit has an output of up to 4000 bags per hour depending on the product.

The Minicap 100 semi-automatic capsule filler, capable of an output of 2500 capsules per hour will also be shown.

The company is the sole UK distributor of the Dott Bonapace range of machines, which includes tablet presses, blister units, capsule processing and filling equipment suitable for a wide range of applications.
