Johnson Matthey, based in Royston in the UK, has invested in additional facilities to increase its manufacturing capabilities for precious metal organo-metallic compounds.

The new facilities will benefit pharma customers, especially those running process development trials. The plant is also capable of producing air-sensitive products on a small to medium scale.

In addition, the company has enhanced its FibreCat, polymer anchored homogeneous catalysts. The latest developments include extensive performance data for coupling, hydrogenation and oxidation reactions.
