KMPT invests €15m in new purpose-built production plant

Solid-liquid mechanical and thermal separation technology specialist KMPT is moving to a new €15m purpose-built production plant in Vierkirchewn near Munich, Germany.


Solid-liquid mechanical and thermal separation technology specialist KMPT is moving to a new €15m purpose-built production plant in Vierkirchewn near Munich, Germany.

The new facility incorporates state-of-the-art production plant and the head offices of KMPT and is designed to meet the latest engineering and production demands and logistic requirements. The 22,000m2 site will enable customers to benefit from a well equipped laboratory and test centre and streamlined production of Krauss-Maffei centrifuges, filters, dryers and integrated systems.

'The massive investment in this relocation is an indicator or our commitment to our customers and the market in general,' said Ian Livesey, managing director of KMPT UK. 'In particular the laboratory and test area will be a centre of excellence for innovation in separation technology.'
