Pathways, a workflow design and laboratory management solution for the life sciences sector, is to get wider integration with other automation products, following the takeover of software developer White Carbon by TTP Lab Tech.

White Carbon's Pathways software will be an additional aid to the integration of TTP LabTech's products, which include: comPOUND for compound storage, Mosquito for nanolitre liquid handling and Acumen Explorer for cell-based assays. Both organisations are owned by parent company, The Technology Partnership (TTP) and have been collaborating for some time on a range of products, including automated chemistry systems, and on integrating existing products.

Jas Sanghera, commercial director of TTP Lab Tech said: 'Pathways was developed specifically to simplify the integration of different robotic platforms. With the new package, TTP LabTech is able to offer a wider range of integrated solutions.'
