Leaflet label designed to document pharmaceutical records

Published: 1-Feb-2004

UK leaflet label specialist Inprint has introduced a leaflet label that has been designed for accurate documentation of pharmaceutical records. Reverse-cut includes a sub-label within the base of the parent label that can be overprinted with product details. This is reverse-cut so that it can be detached and transferred to supplementary documentation, providing a carbon copy of the product details.

Reverse-cut has been designed to meet two key market demands. First, in the clinical trials arena, Reverse-cut allows essential information to be taken from the pack and placed on the case report form (CRF) without any transcription errors. Using the understanding gained through its dedicated CRF printing division, Inprint ensures that the Reverse-cut Extended Text label conforms to the clinical trials industry's standards. The leaflet/label can include multiple languages, eliminating relabelling or separate print runs for each country involved in a study.

Second, it provides a solution for a specific labelling problem in some European countries, where the government reimbursement system for prescription pharmaceuticals requires the label to be removed from the packaging and used as a record of the medicine purchased for reimbursement. With Reverse-cut, the detachable vignette can be overprinted with the necessary information, eliminating errors and facilitating reimbursement.
