Lichtenberger is CEVEC's new ceo

CEVEC Pharmaceuticals, a biopharmaceutical company specialising in the development of complex therapeutic proteins using their proprietary human cell expression systems, has appointed Rainer Lichtenberger as ceo.

Lichtenberger will replace Professor Stefan Kochanek, one of the founders of the company, who led the company as interim ceo for nearly half a year and will continue to serve as one of the advisory board members.

Lichtenberger's team at CEVEC will be complemented by other experienced staff such as Dr Christoph Volpers, chief operating officer (COO) and chief scientific officer (CSO) Dr Gudrun Schiedner.
