The latest innovations in processing and packaging machinery will be on display from 26-28 September at the PPMA Show, the UK's annual showcase for the processing and packaging machinery industry.

There will be more than 300 exhibitors at the 2006 event, demonstrating a wide range of machinery, including equipment aimed at the chemical and pharmaceutical sectors.

Features at the show will include the Technical Information Centre, where visitors can access the most important technical details of products on show and a series of Business Advice Seminars featuring talks and interactive sessions from consultants on sales and marketing, human resources and staff training.

With increasing focus on RFID technology, a series of special RFID seminars will take place led by experts from leading organisations including the Packaging Federation, Toshiba TEC, PI Group, BT Auto-ID Services and Siemens Automation & Drives. Topics will include the fundamentals of RFID, integrating tags into different packaging substrates, key supply chain challenges, potential RFID labelling solutions, the international standards process and achieving ROI.

"The machinery sector is very dynamic, with manufacturers continually responding to new demands from customers for greater efficiencies, higher speeds and further integration," commented James Coleman, PPMA Show marketing manager.

Manufacturing Chemist will be represented on stand 5C20, where staff will be pleased to discuss your editorial and advertising plans for 2007. Forms will also be available to obtain an entry in Manufacturing Chemist's new on-line Buyers" Guide.
