Magic touch for titration

Ion analysis specialist Metrohm has launched a new titration system that is claimed to be 10 times more accurate than other systems on the market. The Titrando is the result of five years of development and comes in four versions. The Titrando 808 has a built-in Dosimat for using exchange units, while the 809 model can accommodate two Dosinos with their dosing units.

Both are compatible with existing exchange and dosing units and each model comes in two variants: a user-friendly touch screen, or a PC-controlled system. The software is identical for either option for optimum flexibility and interchangeability.

Each system can control up to three Titrandos and each of these can be extended by up to four titration stations, giving the possibility of a super-titrator that controls 12 burets and has six galvanically separated measuring interfaces.

According to Metrohm, the Titrando is the only stand-alone titration system that complies with 21 CFR part 11.
