Major investment in drying technology plant

Anhydro, a world leader in evaporation and drying technologies, based in Soeborg, Denmark, has invested US$4m (€3.7m) in a new r&d centre. The project comprises new buildings and the latest technology equipment and process plant. The new centre will be complete by the beginning of September 2003.

'Our existing test centre will be modernised to enable us to offer our customers comprehensive facilities, where they can trial new and more sophisticated products,' says Niels Pedersen, md of Anhydro. 'In future, there will be increasing requirements for development and testing of a number of speciality products, including many from the pharmaceutical industry. We will be able to meet these challenges with our new facilities.
