The Group's strength lies in providing the market with a complete package, offering not only innovative solutions in primary packaging (blister thermoformers and deep-draw thermoformers, blisterpack and wallet machines, machines for filling ampoules, syringes, vials and bottles with liquid products, even in a sterile environment) and secondary packaging (cartoners, overwrappers, case packers, palletisers and also labellers, tunnels, washing machines and wrapping machines), but also machine customisation and efficient after-sales service, thanks to its widespread presence in the main reference markets.
Another Group strong point is the fact that it has kept production in Italy while strengthening its worldwide sales network: Marchesini is present in 68 countries, with more than 44 agencies and 10 foreign divisions (UK, France, Scandinavia, Spain, Germany, Benelux, Switzerland, the US, the Middle East and Asia Pacific).
Almost 80% of the machines are made for the pharmaceutical sector, 15% for cosmetics and a minor portion for food. Eighty per cent of customers are located outside Italy, in Europe, US, Latin America, China, Eastern nations, North Africa and the Middle East, reconfirming the focus of Marchesini Group on the international markets.
