Medrad awarded Medbuy contract
Medbuy, a national health care group purchasing organisation representing 300 Canadian health care facilities, has agreed a new three-year contract with Medrad for the supply of vascular injector system syringes and related disposables used on vascular injection systems in Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance (MR) and Cardiovascular (CV) imaging.

The agreement gives Medbuy's members access to Medrad's full line of vascular injector syringes and systems.
Medrad, headquartered in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, US and an affiliate of Schering, introduced the first-ever vascular injection systems used in CT, MR and cardiovascular imaging procedures. It received the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award in 2003, and its 2004 revenues totalled US$344 million.
