Mettler Toledo launches MultiGram III

Mettler Toledo has introduced the MultiGram III, the latest member of its Berger SFC (Supercritical Fluid Chromatography) product family. The SFC preparative system has been specifically designed to meet growing demand for higher sample throughput for chiral and achiral drug purification applications.

The MultiGram III provides sample outputs five to 10 times faster than HPLC. It offers flow rates of 200ml/min and accommodates an expanded range of high capacity preparative columns ideal for large scale preparation.

Economic and environmental, the system performs purified sample recovery in smaller volumes of organic solvents compared with HPLC, which results in reduced solvent costs, evaporation time and waste.
