Mixing with a lighter touch

Normally associated with very tough and viscous media, the latest Z blade extruder discharge mixers from Winkworth are designed for lighter duty applications.

Many lighter doughs and pastes do not require heavy duty design and construction. The new range is compact, quiet, hygienically designed and easy to clean and maintain, says Winkworth. There are independent drives on each blade and extruder screw, so there is no need for gears and a variable mixing action is possible. A new gland housing design facilitates cleaning and fast repacking of the glands when required.
