New ceo for Clavis Pharma

Clavis Pharma, the Norwegian cancer drug development company, has appointed Olav Hellebo as its new ceo, who joins the company from UCB Pharma. Hellebo will take up his position on 1 February 2010.

Prior to joining UCB, from 2003 to 2004 Hellebo was chief operating officer of Novartis UK and before that held a series of international roles at Schering Plough, the last as head of Schering Plough's Oncology Biotech Division in the US.
