New multilayer label from Sessions

Sessions of York has developed a new Multi-Layer Plus self-adhesive label. This booklet-style product has the option of up to five printed pages, allowing manufacturers to provide detailed product information or extensive promotions on-pack.

EU legislation requires manufacturers in sectors such as pharmaceuticals to supply comprehensive information for the consumer. The extra print area created by the construction will accommodate all necessary information – including text and graphics. Multilingual instructions are a major labelling growth area where this new format will prove valuable.

Multi-Layer Plus labels also ensure vital information remains with the product and is not discarded with a printed outer carton or leaflet insert.

Adaptable to virtually any product size or shape, the self-adhesive backing enables continuous, semi or fully automatic application by standard labelling equipment, in the same way as a conventional label.
