New name in metal detection

Along with its name change from Goring Kerr to Thermo Goring Kerr, the product monitoring company has announced a series of metal detector conveyors for larger and heavier products.

Concept 700 extends the company's Concept family from being able to handle a maximum product weight of 7.5kg to a maximum of 25kg.

The frame of the unit is designed to optimise search head performance by offering a high degree of stability. To eliminate loop effect, the search head is isolated from the frame by nylon spacers. With a maximum belt width of 700mm, standard frame lengths are 1,800, 2,000 and 2,300mm. The 700 series is designed for use with the company's DSP3 and TEK21 search heads.
