Newman labeller heads south

South African organic supplements manufacturer Biodelta has installed an NV2 tablet bottle labeller from Newman Labelling Machinery, following a demonstration at interpack in Duesseldorf in April.

The ultra-flexible NV2 is designed to apply paper and clear self-adhesive labels to cylindrical, flat, square and oval containers, with minimal change parts. Operating at speeds of up to 150 containers a minute, the NV2 is fully compliant with FDA cGMP requirements and can be supplied with validation completed to PQ.

'We were very impressed with the build quality and the machine's level of flexibility. Within 24 hours of arrival it was operating at full speed,' said Biodelta managing director Colin Levy.
