Combines GEA Pumps, GEA Tuchenhagen, GEA Aseptomag and GEA Breconcherry technology brands

GEA Process Engineering UK, based in Warrington, Cheshire, UK has restructured its components department to combine its GEA Pumps, GEA Tuchenhagen, GEA Aseptomag and GEA Breconcherry brands and provide a single source for hygienic and aseptic components in UK.

The firm now offers a wider range of components and back-up services for hygienic and aseptic applications in the UK dairy, food, beverage, distillery, brewery, pharma, biotech, and home & personal care sectors.

'There are distinct benefits in combining the brands into a single offering,' said Doug Mills, Components Sales Manager at GEA Process Engineering.

'We can now offer a service that provides quotations, after-sales and product servicing from one central point of contact. This means cost savings and quicker response times for customers because GEA has on-call engineering staff all over the UK who have good local knowledge and are familiar with plants and processes. It’s now possible for a single engineer to maintain equipment from all four brands.'

Customers can now order from a single source, have one point of contact for after-sales requirements, one contract and lower-cost, more efficient administration.

'Because engineers are working more closely with customers, on a range of equipment, they have a much more holistic view of the plant and its production needs,' added Mills. 'It means that we can be true partners for all our clients’ hygienic and aseptic component needs and be much more proactive in helping them maintain maximum plant efficiency.'

GEA Process Engineering UK also maintains strong links with other GEA companies including GEA Diessel for electromagnetic flow meters and GEA Wiegand for jet pumps that provide hygienic and aseptic components to the processing industries.
