Molecular Profiles and Onyx Scientific form alliance
Will offer services from drug discovery through to late phase clinical trial manufacturing
Molecular Profiles, a specialist contract research and manufacturing organisation, has entered into a strategic alliance with Onyx Scientific, a provider of chemistry services to pharmaceutical and biotech companies worldwide.
The two UK firms plan to deliver end-to-end services ranging from initial drug discovery through to early and late phase manufacturing.
The partnership will give customers of both firms access to a wider range of services, combining Onyx Scientific’s active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) production and initial solid state screening with Molecular Profiles’ expertise in formulation and analytical development and early phase clinical trial manufacturing. Onyx Scientific also has sites in India providing customers with late stage clinical trial and commercial manufacturing services.
