Chemistry specialist Onyx Scientific has further strengthened its US team with the appointment of Adam Moorhouse, who has joined the contract research and manufacturing organisation (CRMO) as Director of Business Development for the western half of the US.
The CRMO has already recruited Chicago-based commercial executive Dan Brisard to oversee its business development activities across the eastern half of the US.
Moorhouse joins the firm following two years’ working in international business development and account management for a UK-based laboratory instrument manufacturer. He has a first class degree in Chemistry from the University of Oxford and a PhD in Organic Medicinal Chemistry from the University of Nottingham.
Onyx Scientific’s UK-based labs deal with complex chemistry to deliver early stage programmes. The firm is then able to scale-up, tech transfer and increase project efficiency using its commercial manufacturing sites in India.
