Thermal covers offer another option for protecting temperature-sensitive pharmaceuticals
Peli BioThermal, a specialist in temperature controlled packaging, announced its new global distribution partnership with Wilpak Group International. The partnership provides Peli BioThermal customers the additional option to utilise Wilpak’s thermal protection covers in the worldwide transportation of pharmaceutical payloads.
“We are pleased to announce our global distribution partnership with Wilpak,” said Kevin Lawler, vice president of sales at Peli BioThermal. “Their technologically advanced thermal covers complement our product offering, providing an additional thermal protection option for our customers.“We welcome this latest collaboration with a fellow industry leader, specialising in the latest technology offering thermal protection performance, which adds to the portfolio of products and services Peli BioThermal provide our global customers,” Lawler continued.
Adam Wilson, managing director of Wilpak Group International, added: “We are delighted to be the exclusive distributor to supply Peli BioThermal with our InsulCap thermal covers for the global transportation of pharmaceutical shipments and are dedicated to collaborating with them to deliver world-leading thermal protection innovations.”
As part of the global partnership Peli BioThermal customers will benefit from access to Wilpak’s InsulCap pallet covers, which provide protection against temperature spikes and weather extremes during the worldwide transportation of pharmaceuticals.
Wilpak’s thermal innovations complement the shipper systems deployed by Peli BioThermal. When deployed during transportation, InsulCap thermal covers allow temperature-sensitive goods to withstand rapid temperature changes when the cold chain is broken.
The custom designed, re-usable, recyclable thermal covers provide Peli BioThermal customers with additional protection options against exposure to extreme hot and cold temperature spikes, helping to avert temperature excursions within the distribution chain.
