The PharmaLex Group, a specialist provider of development consulting, regulatory affairs, quality management and compliance services, as well as pharmacovigilance, has entered into a collaboration with Kiana Systems, a provider of data science, machine learning and artificial intelligence (AI) based in Saarbrücken, Germany.
Dr Tilo Netzer, CEO at PharmaLex, said: “Not only will we be able to streamline the creation of summary documentation via AI led services, we also hope to offer Software as a Service (SaaS) in the future. The possibilities of this partnership are endless.”
The partnership will utilise the respective expertise of both companies to develop bespoke AI based software that will ultimately automate the creation of summary documents as part of the common technical document (CTD) compilation.
In the first instance, the software is intended to create substantial efficiencies in this process, while the use of machine learning technologies should allow full automation of the process in the long run.
