Symbiosis Pharmaceutical Services, a small-scale contract manufacturer of injectable pharmaceuticals for use in clinical trials, with operations in the UK and US, has appointed Joanne Anderson as Business Development Manager.
Anderson has a background in programme management and was previously responsible for an R&D portfolio of new product developments, which involved taking products from research to commercialisation.
Having worked in analytical chemistry and biomedical analysis roles Anderson entered the pharmaceutical industry more than 12 years ago with an API manufacturer and was more recently with a fill/finish service provider. Having previously set up a client account management function Anderson moved into sales while completing an MBA at Newcastle University Business School.
Symbiosis is strengthening its sales and marketing function with this appointment and says Anderson will become a key point of communication for existing and new clients.
