The event on 5-6 February at the Paris Expo will again showcase the latest innovations and bring the industry together to help foster new advances

It is an extremely exciting time for the pharmaceutical packaging industry, as in recent years more innovative products are being brought to market, demanding more multifaceted packaging and drug delivery solutions. This, coupled with the introduction of new packaging regulations, has led to contract packaging organisations taking a more significant role to produce more advanced packaging and drug delivery solutions.

This is why Pharmapack Europe 2020 will again showcase the latest innovations in the industry and bring the entire community together to help foster new advances.

The event, to be held on 5-6 February at the Paris Expo, Porte de Versailles (France) will provide visitors with insights from leading industry experts along with a plethora of networking opportunities.

The Health Products category is open to pharmaceutical, veterinary, biopharma or OEM companies – they can also co-apply with their packaging or device manufacturer or supplier if the innovation is a collaborative one – but entries must be of a product that has been commercially launched after the 1st of January 2019.

    What's on Pharmapack Europe 2020

The Exhibitor Innovation award is for Pharmapack Europe 2020 exhibitors that join the Innovation Gallery. This category allows entrants to present the latest innovative solutions, including those not yet available on the market (i.e. currently undergoing R&D.)

Last year’s awards saw an influx of entries of exceptional calibre and it is anticipated that mirroring market conditions, 2020 will see another stellar standard.

All exhibitor innovations submitted for the Pharmapack Awards are showcased in the Innovation Gallery, which gives a comprehensive overview of recently launched products. Moreover, there will also be hour-long guided Innovation Tours, delivered by industry experts, to highlight exceptional exhibitors throughout the innovation gallery.

    Start-up Hub

To celebrate, young companies in the centre of the floorplan will be the 2020 Start-up Hub, providing a platform dedicated to emerging new and innovative technologies in the fields of pharmaceutical packaging, labelling, drug delivery device design and engineering.

Exhibitors here will showcase product innovations and take part in the Start-up Pitch – retained from last year, this unique opportunity gives exhibitors the chance to pitch their company to a panel of experts in front of a live audience of industry professionals.
