NNE Pharmaplan has been officially launched following NNE's acquisition of the German engineering company Pharmaplan at the end of March 2007.
Pharmaplan has know-how in delivery of turnkey facilities, validation and key pharmaceutical processes, while NNE complements Pharmaplan in areas such as biotechnology, cleanroom and automation.
The new joint company has five offices in the US market, 60 employees in offices in Delhi and Bangalore and 130 employees in Tianjin, China. In Europe the corporate headquarters are in Copenhagen, Denmark, and there is a significant German hub in Frankfurt.
