Norbrook opens advanced molecular research facility

One of the most advanced chemical synthesis research facilities in Europe has been opened by Norbrook Laboratories in Carlisle in the UK. The site is dedicated to bespoke r&d for the production of complex molecules to pilot plant stage and beyond.

The company says it can now offer pharmaceutical companies a high quality alternative to investment in their own research facilities. It presently synthesises a wide range of molecules both for the parent company and for third party requirements.'
