Oxoid develops new prepared media labels
Oxoid has enhanced its method of labelling small volume bottles in its prepared media range of broths and diluents, printing all information on a clear background material that allows the contents to be seen without uncapping the product.
Labels take up most of the bottle surface area, and opaque labels can obscure the bottle's contents, making it difficult to gauge the volume of media contained within.
Oxoid's prepared media, suitable for the recovery, enrichment, growth and enumeration of micro-organisms, come in a variety of formats and fill volumes. Manufactured under controlled conditions in BS EN ISO 9001:2000 registered and ISO 13485 accredited production facilities, with quality control certificates for each lot, these ready-made products eliminate the need for media preparation within the laboratory.
