Peeler centrifuge for GSK

GlaxoSmithKline has installed a Krauss Maffei horizontal peeler centrifuge as part of process line expansion at its manufacture and supply site in Montrose, Scotland.

The pharmaceutical giant chose the Krauss Maffei HZ 800 Ph centrifuge after reviewing a number of horizontal and vertical machines for multi-purpose use with a new set of process streams at the site.
