Penn Pharma appoints new head of human resources
McCafferty joins Penn following many years of working with large national and international companies, where she held senior human resource roles at GSK, Pirelli Cables, National Probation Service and Alcan/Novelis.
More recently Joanne has supported various businesses in a self-employed Senior HR advisory role identifying gaps in HR best practise, including organisational redesign and development, change management and introducing new HR processes in complex and challenging environments.
She said: "Penn as a global organisation is growing rapidly, the team across all of Penn's services is expanding and as such the need to ensure all staff have access to support and training is increasing. It is exciting to be in a role looking after staff as far away as Japan and the US."
