Pharmintech and Interphex USA sign deal

Pharmintech and Interphex USA have signed a three-year agreement to endorse and support each other's events. They say the agreement will allow both groups to achieve mutual goals by increasing the awareness of these pharmaceutical events globally, and attracting more international visitors and exhibitors. The agreement will run from 2004 to 2007.

Pharmintech 2004 will take place in Bologna on 8-11 June, and various conferences, workshops and seminars have been scheduled in collaboration with Ipack-Ima.

Issues to be discussed include:

• A comparison of documents of the chief standards and regulations agencies governing production of drugs under aseptic conditions

• Pharmaceutical packaging - latest developments and future prospects, with an overview of technical issues and standards

• A challenge for improving the quality of life - the response of the scientific community to growing social expectations and demand for health

• The implications of on-going changes in age

• Technology and innovation: winning factors for industrial growth

• Integrated automated systems in advanced technological processing applications, such as cleanrooms and isolators
