Pilot ONE Multitouch Controller makes temperature control easy

Published: 3-Apr-2013

Users in the lab get the right temperature with a simple touch with the new Pilot ONE touchscreen controller, now standard on Huber systems

The newly developed Pilot ONE touchscreen controller is fitted as standard on the range of temperature control equipment. The controller is a further milestone in the history of Huber’s innovative temperature control systems. It fits all Unistats, Unichillers and heating/cooling circulators.

Thanks to the unique Plug & Play technology, the introduction of the Pilot ONE allows easy expansion of functions and features. The controller is also compatible with previous models, therefore existing machines can be easily and economically upgraded.

The Pilot ONE offers the latest touchscreen technology; it provides comfortable navigation and advanced control technology. Ease of use is facilitated with USB/LAN connections and full text menu guidance in 11 languages.

This not only facilitates operation but has also benefits for data recording or remote control. For example, temperature measurement data can be easily stored on a USB stick. The USB connection also allows a connection to a PC or notebook.

Requirements such as remote control or data transmission can be performed easily and in a cost-effective manner in conjunction with the Huber Spy Software. The Ethernet port additionally provides connection to LAN networks, wherein the data communication can occur directly via existing networks without any additional cable. The Pilot ONE can be easily removed to enable usage as a remote control.

The newly designed user interface and the large 5.7 inch TFT touchscreen make daily work on the system easier and time-saving. Simple menu icons and easy-to-use functions, such as graphic temperature curves, swipe gesture control, technology glossary and an adjustable favourites menu, allow particularly simple operation. For example, the main screen can be switched to an alternative view just by swiping with a finger for a large display of the temperature values.

Another advantage on Huber devices is the well-proven E-grade concept that allows the activation of additional device functions using optional upgrade packages. This allows the devices to adapt to changing application requirements.
