Among products being shown for the first time by Irish company Ultrasonic Scientific is a new semi-solid instrument designed for measuring pastes, gels, suspensions, emulsions and other semi-solid and solid materials. Another launch is the high throughput ultrasonic spectrometer, designed to improve throughput and productivity for routine or higher volume applications. And the HR-US 102 ultrasonic spectrometer can carry out non-destructive analysis of transparent, translucent and opaque samples.

Laboratory informatics specialist Thermo LabSystems will be showing the latest developments in its LIMS products, Nautilus and SampleManager. It will also be presenting the eRecordManager solution for long-term analytical data acrchival and knowledge management, the Atlas Chromatography Data System, and the GRAMS/AI desktop spectroscopy product suite.

UK-based Omnifit will be showing its new range of liquid column chromatography colums. Said to be ideal for bioseparations and other analytical and semi-preparative laboratory applications, the new columns can be configured to an all-PTFE fluid path, giving complete chemical and biological compatibility with current or future applications.
