Planer shows pair of blister packers
Planer Pharma is showing two new tablet blister packing machines. One operates on a continuous rotary vacuum forming principle with rotary sealing and conventional punching station for pack separation. A black and white camera system is incorporated as standard to check for missing tablets.
The second machine has a capacity of up to 300 blisters/min and will be shown producing a 14-unit pack of capsules. It operates on a platen forming principle with rotary sealing and what is described as an innovative pack separation system. It will be demonstrated as a Blister Centre in combination with an Aylward feeding system, an integrated end-load continuous motion cartoner, also manufactured by Planer Pharma, a Garvens checkweigher and Pester overwrapper. Planer Pharma is represented in the UK by Soudal, of Coalville.
