Platinum sets the seal on purity

A new range of O-ring, platinum-cured, moulded silicone seals has been developed by UK high performance seals specialist Precision Polymer Engineering (PPE). The seals are FDA compliant and meet USP Class VI and WRC approvals. Conventional O-ring seals have been formed by joining the ends of extruded silicone cord, but the PPE moulded seals are said to offer improved reliability and integrity compared with jointed seals.
