Powder handling under control

Powder Engineering Systems says it has developed a 'revolutionary' powder handling system. The Easyflow Powder Dispenser is portable, easy to use and simple to clean.

Cohesive powders are made to flow through a hopper outlet that is up to 10 times smaller than the powder's critical arching dimension. This is done without fluidising the powder. Having the powder flow through a small cross section makes it easy to control the flow rate, which can be reduced to a trickle to dispense an accurate weight, the company says.
