German contract research and manufacturing company ProBioGen, based in Berlin, has entered into an exclusive research and licence agreement with Merck & Co. to explore the development of cell substrates with potential application in the production of biologicals. ProBioGen specialises in mammalian cell biology, virology and molecular biology combined with cell culture technology, process engineering and protein manufacturing.
