Pump and filling from Adelphi

Adelphi Manufacturing has installed an Adelphi Peristaltic Pump and X/Y Filling machine for Techfill, a Dewsbury-based specialist formulation and contract filling company. The X/Y system is based on peristaltic filling technology and uses a microprocessor-controlled XY distributor.

Plastic or glass containers are placed into trays and the peristaltic dispenser fills the same amount into each bottle automatically.

Techfill's managing director, Stephen Bertram, comments: 'The Adelphi X/Y offered us the ideal solution for small volume, medium to low production run applications, which we previously found difficult to produce cost effectively.'
