Purite has launched the Select range of water purification products.

The Thame, UK-based company says the products use an array of advanced technologies, such as reverse osmosis (RO) and electro deionisation (EDI), and provide consistency and reliability while giving users confidence in the water quality.

The radically redesigned and upgraded Select range is available in four standard models: Descale, Analyst, HP and Bio, plus the specialised Purewater 300, Fusion and Neptune versions. Two notable additions to the range are Ultrafiltration (UF) technology and the use of electro deionisation.

Ultrafiltration is a membrane process specifically targeted at removing bacteria, their by-products (endotoxins) and enzymes such as RNases and DNases from ultrapure water.

Electro deionisation uses a combination of ion selective membranes and ion exchange resins sandwiched between two electrodes (anode and cathode), in conjunction with an applied DC voltage potential to remove dissolved ions from RO-pretreated water.

Purite says the new products are simple to use and clear touchscreen displays enable easy set-up and fingertip diagnostic functionality. Maximum flexibility and portability are achieved through space-saving designs. All units can be bench-top or wall-mounted.

The products meet ISO 9001:2008 standards and are backed by Purite's after service care.

Purite, a subsidiary of Ondeo Industrial Solutions, designs, develops and manufactures water purification systems for use in both the healthcare and research sectors and throughout industry.
