Radleys heating blocks hope to supplant oil baths
UK-based laboratory equipment supplier Radleys has launched the Heat-On heating block range, designed for round-bottomed flasks from 10ml to 3 litres in volume.
UK-based laboratory equipment supplier Radleys has launched the Heat-On heating block range, designed for round-bottomed flasks from 10ml to 3 litres in volume.
The blocks are able to operate with many different makes of leading stirring hotplates and offer safe and clean heating of one or two flasks simultaneously. The deep well shape of the blocks maximises the heating area and prevents flasks from cracking.
The Heat-On blocks feature a resistant flouropolymer coating that aids cleaning and improves heating and durability, Radleys claims.
The new range is a modular system that can be tailored to the needs of clients, and Radleys says that it will be possible to keep unnecessary duplication of parts to a minimum as laboratory requirements change and grow.
