Robinson Bros reveals a new identity
UK speciality chemicals manufacturer Robinson Brothers (RBL) unveiled its new corporate identity at ChemSpec, marking the culmination of a five-year business and process innovation review. RBL has effected major changes throughout its organisation in terms of culture, business process, technology and investment. The company is one of the UK's largest independent manufacturers of speciality organic chemicals. The new logo will be applied throughout the organisation.
Robinson Brothers' chemical business manager, Anthony Weston, commented: 'The new image reflects the realignment of RBL's business strategy and a cultural change which embraces not just technical process but people, organisation and business process.'
The company has introduced a new range of amines to complement its current offering. A key product is the pharmaceutical intermediate N-benzylethanolamine, which combines the advantages of high purity, low colour and high shelf stability. 'The production route is very important, and the one we use gives good quality in terms of purity and colour,' commented Weston.
