ROW2 Technologies, a provider of innovative solutions and services for the life science and chemical industries, has launched two key enhancements to its business expansion tool SmartChem.


ROW2 Technologies, a provider of innovative solutions and services for the life science and chemical industries, has launched two key enhancements to its business expansion tool SmartChem.

A web-based application designed specifically for business development and sourcing professionals, Smartchem provides comprehensive information on raw materials, intermediates and finished goods worldwide.

Conceptualised by a team of research chemists with a strong r&d background, it also provides valuable knowledge on compounds being produced globally on a commercial scale, along with where these compounds are being used in various industries and their worldwide manufacturers and suppliers. This aids business expansion by identifying industries, market segments and products that use particular compounds, and allowing sourcing specialists to identify suppliers that meet their organisation's needs.

The two enhancements were made following customer feedback: RapidFire allows quick selection by businesses of target companies and sends simultaneous communications to those selected, while SmartTracker enables tracking of after-sales request(s). Planned future enhancements include a search for molecule outsourcing companies in India.
